From internship to full-time role
As part of her internship with GS1, a global coordinating office which develops and maintains standards for barcodes and other supply chain technologies, Bucs applied the knowledge she gained from her classes to ensure that the company’s media placements and digital ads were maximizing budget while ensuring relevance and increased brand awareness. Her strong performance helped Bucs secure a full-time position with GS1 before graduation. As a marketing specialist, she now plans and executes strategic, SEO-friendly content.
Time at Rider
Bucs credits her time at Rider for giving her the tools she needed to succeed in the workforce. She served as the executive vice president of the Student Government Association, where she supported efforts to expand access to professional resources for her peers. Having seen firsthand the immense value these programs provide while working as a Career Coach Assistant, she knew exactly how important it was that her fellow students take advantage of all the opportunities and resources available to them through Rider.
“I am so grateful for those who have supported me throughout the past three years,” says Bucs. “The impact this community has had on me will remain with me throughout my life, and I hope I have contributed something meaningful in return.”
