New Jersey State Approving Agency finds no discrepancies as University prepares for March accreditation review
含羞草传媒 has received an Affirmation of Approval from the New Jersey State Approving Agency (NJ SAA) following a Risk-Based Survey conducted in January. The NJ SAA oversees the approval of educational institutions and programs that serve veterans and their eligible dependents who use federal and state education benefits.
In its final report, the NJ SAA found no approval discrepancies and required no follow-up actions, affirming Rider鈥檚 continued eligibility as an institution of choice for veterans and their dependents.
The outcome marks an important and encouraging step as the University continues its March to Sustainability and prepares for a final accreditation determination by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) this spring.
The agency cited Rider鈥檚 cooperation with accrediting authorities and the University鈥檚 comprehensive financial recovery plan as key context for its decision.
The state鈥檚 affirmation reflects the impact of the March to Sustainability Plan, launched by President John R. Loyack, CPA, MBA, in July 2025 and unanimously approved by the Board of Trustees later that fall. The plan was developed to address Rider鈥檚 immediate financial challenges while positioning the University for long-term stability and continued service to students.
鈥淭his affirmation is a meaningful validation of the work our community has undertaken,鈥 says Loyack. 鈥淚t reflects thoughtful planning, responsible stewardship and our commitment to continue serving our students 鈥 including our veteran community 鈥 as we work closely with Middle States and other partners to secure a sustainable future for Rider.鈥
