Firm named 2026 corporate inductee for sustained commitment to students and faculty

Ernst & Young LLP (EY US), the global professional services firm, has been selected as this year's corporate inductee to 含羞草传媒鈥檚 Norm Brodsky College of Business Hall of Fame. The ceremony will take place on May 7 at The Marigold in Somerset, New Jersey.
Rider students and faculty have long benefited from the University's lasting relationship with EY US. About 75 Rider alumni currently work at the firm, and new graduates are regularly hired by the firm each year. Students also complete internships and co-op programs with EY US. The firm participates in classroom instruction and professional development opportunities at Rider, with professionals frequently serving as guest speakers in courses and information sessions.

As one of the longest-serving members of Rider's Accounting Advisory Council, EY US provides strategic guidance to the accounting department. It also provides speakers for the department's annual faculty retreat, which helps support faculty development and strengthen the collaboration between academia and corporate practice. A key on-campus collaborator, EY US consistently participates in the University's career fairs as well as information sessions for Beta Alpha Psi, an international honor society for accounting, finance and information systems students, and other campus groups.
According to Dr. Evelyn McDowell, chair of the Accounting department and convener of the Accounting Advisory Council, "EY US's sustained presence at Rider demonstrates its commitment to our shared goals: a high-quality business education, experiential learning and continuous improvement.鈥
The Norm Brodsky College of Business Hall of Fame has honored the contributions of outstanding individuals and institutions that help shape and strengthen the University, the community and their profession since 2018. This year鈥檚 ceremony will also induct Jim Drake '93, who most recently served as global co-head of banking risk and controls and chief administrative officer of Barclays Investment Bank; Robert Decker '93, the vice president, corporate controller and chief accounting officer for Johnson & Johnson; Joseph Hudicka '93, '00, the co-founder of The Clarity Team, LLC, and CEO of Fizzee Labs; and Karen West '82, 鈥89, an independent consultant with more than three decades of expertise, including several senior roles, in accounting, finance, operations and strategic leadership.
Inductees are selected on the basis of their contributions toward shaping their profession and community. In addition to receiving awards at the ceremony, honorees will also be recognized through a permanent display in Anne Brossman Sweigart Hall on Rider鈥檚 campus.
